Changes to the form and content of settlement documents come into force on August 1, 2021

New requirements to the form and content of settlement documents formed by registrars of settlement operations in the trade, catering and services come into force on August 1, 2021.

Changes to the form and content of settlement documents (checks formed by registrars of settlement operations / its software version) concern the mandatory presence of:

name (title) of the business entity;

indication of the transaction currency;

name (title) of the payment system;

QR code (if available).

STS emphasizes that the QR code is not a mandatory requisites in a check, but should contain mandatory information if available in a check and is designed to simplify procedure of sending a fiscal check by the seller to the consumer’s subscriber number and / or e-mail address!

If there is the QR code in a fiscal check, the QR code itself must contain the following mandatory information:

message authentication code (MAC) of this check;

date and time of settlement operations;

fiscal number of the cashier’s check / fiscal number of electronic cashier’s check within the change;

amount of the settlement operation;

fiscal number registrars of settlement operations / its software version, on which it is formed.
