It is possible to obtain professional assistance on almost all key tax questions in the Tax Consultant Offices of the State Tax Service. And for veterans, as well as recipients of grants for their own business, there is a separate support service. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

How it works in practice for veteran business:

- “Equal to equal” principle: defenders are met by moderators in the Offices – demobilized veterans who have become a part of the State Tax Service’s team and speak the same language with their comrades;

- “Green corridor” without queues: fast, respectful, comfortable and barrier-free access to all services;

- Support every step of the way: comprehensive support from starting business (registration of individual-entrepreneur) to scaling it up.

“Almost a year ago, when we created the Tax Consultant Offices, we wanted one thing: for tax questions that scare people so much to stop being overly complicated. For everyone to be able to come to a specific place and receive professional, free and prompt assistance. Without complicated words. Without the feeling that you are left alone with your problem. And for veterans, separate support is provided. We are always with those who defended and are defending the country” – Lesya Karnaukh noted.

She told story of one of Defender, Oleksandr Chumak, who used help of the Tax Consultant Office in Kyiv:

After being injured, prosthetics and long-term rehabilitation, Oleksandr did not stop, realized his dream and opened a coffee shop.
