State tax service of Ukraine continues to practice meetings with business representatives in new remote formats. Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov and heads of the STS structural units communicated with representatives of the European Business Association during the online meeting yesterday.
“State tax service continues to perform its functions during the quarantine and constructive dialogue with the business community has not lost its relevance as of today. We understand that maximum support and assistance is needed in current business environment. We try work out issues we are facing fast and work together in finding the best solutions” – stated Chairman of the State tax service Serhii Verlanov.
During the meeting Serhii Verlanov and representatives of the European Business Association discussed topical issues, including recent changes in tax administration, tax benefits for business, timely reimbursement of the VAT, registration of VAT invoices, excise taxes on fuel and more.
Parties discussed the main changes of tax regulation during the quarantine period in Ukraine, as well as heard suggestions on business support after its completion.
In turn, representatives of the European Business Association thanked for the meeting and noted the Tax service’s readiness for quality dialogue.
“At present, business is transforming, trying to make its processes more efficient and digitized. We hope that the Tax service will also be able to use this time to the benefit of making the final transition from vestigial fiscal body to customer service – become a business partner and consultant that will help companies comply with the legislation, keep tax records accurate, without being penalized, etc.” – emphasized Executive director of the European Business Association Anna Derevianko.
