Mikhail Titarchuk: the State Tax Service supports initiatives aimed at digitalization of the taxpayers’ services

, published 29 May 2020 at 13:54

At present, the State Tax Service has the remaining priority regarding development of the service component and digitalization of the taxpayers’ services.

That is why all initiatives of other public authorities, which make it easier to obtain services by the taxpayers and citizens, are always supported.

Thus, the State Tax Service actively participated in the implementation of new experimental project “E-baby”, which started earlier this year, and the implementation of its second stage ID-14. New service that allows children over 14 to receive 2 services by 1 application – passport and taxpayer’s number was presented today by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Chariman of the State Tax Service Mikhail Titarchuk and Head of the State Migration Service Maksym Sokoliuk.

“The State Tax Service is always open to cooperation and introduction of new electronic services. In this way, we provide digitization in action. Introduction of the ID-14 service is a very correct initiative and we, as co-executors, actively supported it. Of course, getting a passport and identification code used to be a thorny and time-consuming process. Today it has become a quick and convenient process” – stated Deputy Chariman of the State Tax Service Mikhail Titarchuk during the presentation of the ID-14 service.

New service simplified procedure for obtaining the taxpayer’s registration accounting card number in the process of obtaining a passport. Children will no longer need to contact the Tax Service to obtain a tax number.

For this, the State Tax Service has already developed a new Web-service, through which applications for a child’s registration in the State Register are received. These applications come directly from the State Migration Service. The State Tax Service assigns a tax number and sends it to the State Migration Service for inclusion in the passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the card form.

“Such service became possible according to effective cooperation of the State Tax Service, the Ministry of Finance and the State Migration Service. There are already children who have started receiving ID card data with a tax number. This is just the beginning. We have a lot of experience on how to improve services that take too much time” – emphasized Mikhail Titarchuk.

Service functions through the integration of the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers into the system of electronic interaction of state electronic information resources “Trembita”. Trembita ensures communication between two registers involved in the provision of a comprehensive service. These are the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers and the Unified State Demographic Register.

Please note that the STS participates in the implementation of experimental project “E-baby” which allows parents to register a newborn child in the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers during the state registration of birth.
