Further main cooperation directions and current cooperation issues in the tax reform were discussed during the meeting between the Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko and the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder.
According to the Chairman of the STS, supporting effective dialogue between business and the executive branch is becoming increasingly important, and in this regard, constructive cooperation between the Tax Service and American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine will contribute to the successful implementation of tax reforms, reaching a consensus between government and business.
Active position of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine provides an opportunity for the Tax Service to receive a feedback from foreign business in Ukraine, promptly respond to possible problems, evaluate effectiveness of measures, and, if necessary, make timely adjustments and implement new projects.
Oleksiy Lyubchenko told about the Service’s reforming priorities for the near future, including – improving tax administration processes, ensuring working transparency of the STS, development of IT technologies, improving taxpayers’ services, expanding the range of electronic services and personnel reform.
In turn, the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder noted long and positive cooperation history with the Tax Service and expressed confidence in its dynamic development to continue economic reforms, promote functioning of the business environment in Ukraine on the basis of fairness and transparency.
