Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko and the President of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine” Grigol Katamadze have signed a Memorandum of partnership and cooperation.

“Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine has always been a reliable partner for the Tax Service and our cooperation – productive. We work jointly to create favorable conditions for business, because successful and profitable business is a key to stable and prosperous economy. Signing of Memorandum is a significant step in establishing a qualitatively new relationship between the Tax Service and the Association.” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

According to him, the signed Memorandum will strengthen and reinforce cooperation between members of the Association and the Tax specialists and will be a new stage in their joint work.

According to the Memorandum, parties will work jointly to improve the tax legislation. Thus, the Association will be able to carry out expertise and submit suggestions to the State Tax Service for draft regulatory acts, the main developer of which is the State Tax Service. In addition, the STS and the APPU will organize consultations with the public and taxpayers on such regulations to understand business’ suggestions, etc.

More than 60 representatives of the Association from all over Ukraine also joined the meeting with the help of a ZOOM platform, subsequently they had the opportunity to ask their questions to the STS’s leadership. Dialogue turned out to be active and interesting. Participants discussed directions of the STS’s reformation, its current tasks, initiatives, development of the service component, etc.

Answering the question “What are the ways for the Tax Service to achieve the target values of key performance indicators?” – Oleksiy Lyubchenko said: “Strict observance of norms of the Tax Code of Ukraine, performance of daily work, definition through methodology of functions and processes and their simplification, as well as development of the service component”.

It should be noted that development of new services is currently the STS’s priority. Functionality of the Electronic cabinet is being improved, new forms of work are being introduced, the software RCO is being finalized which will be available to entrepreneurs as of August 1, etc.

Participants were also interested in the functional changes related to introduction of the status of a single legal entity for the State Tax Service.
