Oleksiy Lyubchenko: software RCOs are introduced from August 1, 2020
Staring from the 1st of August 2020, business entities will be able to use software registrars of calculated operations to conduct settlement operations during the sale of products and services, currency trading and acceptance of cash for its further transfer.
Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko noted that at present the State Tax Service is carrying out final work to fully launch the software solution.
“Introduction of software RCOs is an alternative to traditional ones (cash registers). We make every effort to ensure that business entities have the opportunity to take advantage of new opportunities for settlement operations from August 1, 2020. The STS’s free software solution can be applied to any device that supports Android and Windows operating systems and has Internet connection. Our taxpayers will soon be able to appreciate benefits of the software RCOs” – stated Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
The STS’s free software solution, which is currently being tested, will be available for the widespread use from August 1, 2020 and two developed APIs will allow integrating the software of any software RCO with the STS’s fiscal server.
Registration of software RCO at the State Tax Service is carried out on the basis of an electronic application which can be generated and submitted by means of the Electronic Cabinet or generated by any other software available to the business entity and submitted through the Unified window of electronic reporting.
All generated software RCO’s documents are transferred to the STS’s fiscal server in the form of electronic documents certified by the electronic signatures or seals.
At present, the functionality of free software solution is being improved, specifically its integration with banking services which will allow making payments for received products and services without additional payment devices (applications).
For example, the mobile application “OschadPAY” developed by JSC “Oschadbank” in partnership with VISA installed on the software RCO will allow making payment for received products (services) by contactless payments (VISA, Mastercard, PROSTIR).
As of today, the fiscal server API and free software solution have implemented the legislative requirements towards the software RCO and can be used by business entities.
In addition, we have plans to introduce the software RCO, namely:
expansion of the check search and verification service, which currently operates in the Electronic Cabinet, and in the future through integration (API) that will be implemented on the Unified portal of public services “DIIA” and which will also be used to search, check and, if necessary, unload checks;
solving issues related to the free solution in terms of its adaptation for devices with the iOS operating system;
development of effective analytical system on the basis of data received from software RCO about conducted settlement operations.
