STS has received 2099 requests for public information since the beginning of 2020

State Tax Service of Ukraine has received 2099 requests for public information since the beginning of 2020.

Of the total number, 393 requests were received by mail, 1619 by e-mail and 87 by the requester in person.

The biggest number of requests for public information was sent by individuals, namely 1340 requests. Since the beginning of 2020, the number of 592 requests for public information has been received from legal entities, 98 from associations of citizens without the status of a legal entity and 69 from the mass media representatives.

According to consideration results: 1229 requests were satisfied with the provision of information, 328 requests were refused due to the non-compliance of requests with the Law of Ukraine as of 13.01.2011 №2939-IV “On access to public information” and 542 requests were sent back as inappropriate.
