Cooperation with public and business associations is an important aspect of work for the State Tax Service. This was stated by Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko during extended board meeting of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Ukraine.
Event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Kava, President of the USPP Anatoliy Kinakh, President of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Chyzhykov, Board members and heads of companies – the USPP members.
“STS works for taxpayers, we are partners. And the main thing for us is to create such conditions so that honest business has an opportunity to receive the maximum number of services, ease of paying taxes and reporting. It is impossible to understand the business’ needs without direct communication. That is why we are open to dialogue and cooperation with associations and organizations that represent interests of Ukrainian business” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
According to him, the STS has been taking a number of measures aimed at ending the use of shadow schemes and creating equal conditions for the work of legal producers since May. Considerable attention is paid to analytical work and analysis of activities of risky companies that create unfair competition in the market.
Efficiency of conducted work is evidenced by the indicators of value added tax revenues. As follows, for 11 months of 2020, the VAT has increased by 41.8% comparing to 2019, given the fall of sales almost by 5%.
“Today we provide full VAT reimbursement to taxpayers. In January – November 2020 the claimed amount of VAT reimbursement amounted to more than 122 billion UAH. In fact 128.7 billion UAH was reimbursed, ie 6 billion UAH more than claimed. This means that balances accumulated on the 1st of January 2020 are reimbursed. In December 2020, we will transfer all registers for reimbursement in full and this amount will be significant, namely more than 14 billion UAH” – specified Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
Oleksiy Lyubchenko also noted importance of cooperation with the USPP, which is an important partner for the tax authorities.
“We thank the USPP representatives for productive work and for effective support of domestic business. I am convinced that our constructive cooperation will be the same in the future” – stated Chairman of the STS.
In turn, President of the USPP Anatoliy Kinakh noted openness of the STS, its willingness to hear entrepreneurs. Specifically, enhanced systematic work and analytical approach in activities of tax specialists were noted. He also assured that the USPP will continue to be a partner for the STS and cooperation will be deepened, especially in the counteraction against the shadow economy.
