Amount of proceeds of the TOP-5 laboratories this year increased by 115 percent

State Tax Service of Ukraine conducted analysis of activities of business entities that provide laboratory services in Ukraine and notes a significant increase in proceeds from services provided and, accordingly, the received income.

Amount of proceeds of the TOP-5 laboratories during 9 months of 2020 have increased by 115% comparing to 9 months of 2019 (276 million UAH and 595 million UAH, respectively) and average amount of one check amounted to 900 UAH.

Declared income increased by 10% during 9 months of 2020 (2 billion UAH and 2.3 billion UAH, respectively).

At the same time, some business entities allowed a reduction in the amount of declared corporate income tax liabilities.

In connection with the introduction throughout Ukraine of a moratorium on documentary and factual audits for the period from March 18, 2020 to the last calendar day of the month (inclusively) when ends quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, conduction of actual audits of laboratories is legally limited. After the expiration of established restrictions, the STS will organize control and verification measures for business entities that allowed a reduction in the amount of declared tax corporate income tax liabilities.
