Investigative actions in the State Tax Service are carried out regarding the circumstances revealed and transferred to law enforcement agencies by the STS
Investigative proceedings are being conducted in the State Tax Service of Ukraine today, on the 3rd of November 2021. According to information provided by the law enforcement agencies, the basis for such proceedings was a criminal case regarding violations of tax legislation by a number of enterprises in Poltava region.
Importantly, the State Tax Service of Ukraine in December 2020 and in January 2021 conducted its own inspection of Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region regarding risky business entities, including enterprises involved in materials of the specified criminal case.
A number of violations of official discipline by representatives of Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region were revealed according to inspection results, in connection with which disciplinary measures were applied to officials.
Information about circumstances that were revealed during inspection, which probably contained signs of criminal offenses, was passed by the State Tax Service of Ukraine to the law enforcement agencies (State Bureau of Investigations).
