Development of the service component is a priority of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
Along with the introduction of new services, the State Tax Service has been introducing new formats of interaction with taxpayers and public over a past year. Emphasis is on the tolerance in relationships.
Effectiveness of new methods was confirmed by results of an independent survey conducted by the Lithuanian-British company “Baltic-Surveys”.
During this survey, a public opinion and attitude of business representatives towards the STS’s activities were studied. Basic questions were: “Experience” and “Assessment of the STS’s work and its image”.
According to the survey results, business representatives evaluate activities of the STS better than public. 59% of business representatives assessed the STS’s activity as “good”.
Representatives of the taxpayers’ associations also noted a high level of overall satisfaction with work of the STS, which is 64%. Number of dissatisfied is 14%; 21% – neutral feedback.
Respondents identified information on how the taxpayers’ funds are used as the most interesting topic regarding activities of Ukrainian institutions in the public finances sphere, namely 53%.
