Representatives of the State Tax Service participated in the strategic planning sessions of the Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department

Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department continues to support development of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

Representatives of the State Tax Service of Ukraine together with advisers of the Office of Technical Assistance of the US Treasury Department held sessions on strategic planning. Participants, during sessions, focused on the importance of internal revenues for financing reconstruction of Ukraine, restoration of damaged tax administration infrastructure, planning and implementation of measures necessary for recovery of work in the debt management and audit spheres, as well as appropriate measures to ensure compliance by taxpayers with the law.

Strategically important initiatives for further partnership were worked out during the event, related, in particular, to the thorough restructuring of work within the post-war reconstruction of the country.

Based on the sessions results, the Working Plan of bilateral cooperation until 2024 was also adjusted in accordance with needs and strategic goals of the State Tax Service, as well as new challenges during the martial law.
