Violations for more than 1 million UAH during the sale of tobacco products were detected in Dnipropetrovsk region

State Tax Service of Ukraine, in order to prevent violations of requirements of current legislation in the organization of economic activity, as well as with an aim of stopping illegal activity in the retail sale, on a permanent basis, carries out control over business entities in this sphere.

Employees of the Tax audit department of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Dnipropetrovsk region conducted measures aimed at countering illegal circulation of excise goods.

In the course of actual audit conducted by tax officials of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Dnipropetrovsk region, violations for the total amount of 1.08 million UAH were detected for the sale of tobacco products without the RRO and without excise tax stamps.

For the committed violations, protocols were drawn up on the guilty persons under Articles 155¹, 156 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Violations.

Along with this, based on the control measures results, tax audit employees together with territorial division of the National Police initiated seizure of unmarked excise tax tobacco products for the total amount of about 1 million UAH.

Due to the effective control and coordinated work of the tax audit, State Tax Service and National Police are constantly taking measures to remove business entities from the shadow sector, which contributes to additional revenues for the state budget and protection of consumer rights in obtaining quality goods and services.
