Consolidated budget received 479.7 billion UAH in January – May 2023

Taxpayers continue to faithfully support state with paid taxes. Thanks to their active civic position, the state steadily receives funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social benefits.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 479.7 billion UAH in January – May 2023 according to operational data. State budget received 303.1 billion UAH, local budgets – 176.6 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 299.3 billion UAH in January – May 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 103.4%, budget additionally received 9.9 billion UAH. Herewith, 61.7 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.

In terms of taxes, indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 22.1% (+11.9 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 25.7% (+8.4 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 12.7% (+7.3 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – May 2023, the increase compared to the corresponding period of previous year is from the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 1.7 times (+17.4 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 24% (+12.6 billion UAH) and corporate income tax by 6.6 percent (+4.1 billion UAH).

Local budgets received 176.6 billion UAH in January – May 2023, which is 33.3 billion UAH or 23.2% more than in January – May 2022.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 141.6 billion UAH in May 2023. State budget received 102.3 billion UAH, local budgets – 39.3 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 101.2 billion UAH in May 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 109.1%, budget additionally received 8.4 billion UAH. 9.9 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on the corporate income tax were fully met, namely 115.7% (+3.9 billion UAH), value-added tax – 116.8% (+2.5 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 117.7% (+2.1 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 123% (+1.8 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in May 2023, the increase compared to May 2022 is from the corporate income tax, namely 145.4% (+8.9 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 127.7% billion UAH (+3.1 billion UAH) and excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 119% billion UAH (+1.5 billion UAH.

Local budgets received 39.3 billion UAH in May 2023, which is 6.3 billion UAH or 19.2% more than in May 2022.
