Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in online marathon on the specifics of conducting tax audits

Participants of online marathon "Tax audits - who and how are audited or the Law № 3219 in effect?", organized by the State Tax Service of Ukraine, spoke today about peculiarities of conducting tax audits during the martial law and changes in the implementation of control and audit measures introduced by the Law of Ukraine № 3219 jointly with Ukrainian Association of Lawyers.

Representatives of the State Tax Service of Ukraine explained main changes introduced by the Law № 3219, which relate to the audit work.

Marathon participants, during discussion, were told peculiarities of the approach to inclusion of payers in the plan-schedule, its updating, terms of adjustment, categories of payers that can be checked.

It was also about conditions under which audits can be carried out and in which cases audits are stopped.

In particular, it was noted that taxpayers can use right provided by the Code in case of loss of documents or impossible access to them, and submit a corresponding notification to the Tax service.

Tax officials, during the event, talked about possible violations that are detected during the control and audit work, calculation of financial sanctions and penalties, and mitigation introduced for business in paying such fines.

In turn, representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Lawyers noted openness of the State Tax Service to dialogue, readiness to listen to business and jointly seek ways to resolve controversial issues.
