Tetiana Kiriienko took part in members meeting of Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine from Lviv region

Representatives of the State Tax Service headed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko took part in members meeting of Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine from Lviv region.

Participants discussed a number of matters related to administration of local and tourist taxes. 

"State Tax Service is a partner and interested party in cooperation with local self-government bodies. Within the limits of its powers, the State Tax Service is ready to participate in further discussion and development of changes to settle filling local budgets by improving administration" – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service.

It should be reminded that today, according to current legislation, local self-government bodies perform a number of functions within the scope of ensuring administration of local taxes: they set rates of local taxes and levies, tax benefits, provide control authorities with information on concluded land lease agreements, approve list of tax agents for the tourist tax, land plots are determined to ensure parking of vehicles, etc.
