Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in a round table session on the topic: "Rule of law: business protection in tax disputes". Judges of the Supreme Court, representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, legal and business communities also took part in the event organized by the Business Ombudsman Council.
Round table became important platform for a frank discussion about the problem of non-execution of court decisions among all stakeholders involved in this process.
During the event, topic of execution of court decisions, problematic aspects of execution of court decisions in view of cases of complainants of the Business Ombudsman Council were actively discussed.
Representatives of the State Tax Service informed that the Tax Service is constantly working on monitoring judicial practice.
Participants particularly noted that not only essential content of solutions needs improvement; each individual case requires analysis and risk-oriented approach before making decision.
Representatives of the Business Ombudsman Council noted presence of a regular and constructive dialogue with the Tax Service, which has a positive effect on resolving complaints of entrepreneurs and support for a systemic intersectoral dialogue on settlement of tax disputes with authorities.
Results of conducted event confirmed the need for further dialogue between tax authorities, business and courts to settle tax disputes, strengthen trust and legal stability.
