National Barrier-free week has started as a part of strategy to create barrier-free space in Ukraine at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
Barrier-free is about equality, respect for dignity, physical, informational and digital accessibility. It is, above all, about respecting interests and needs of everyone.
Tax Service strives to ensure that every citizen or entrepreneur has opportunity to receive necessary services quickly, clearly and with respect for their needs.
Barrier-free in the State Tax Service:
- access to online services:
the most popular resources – web portal of the State Tax Service and website of the Qualified Provider of Electronic Trust Services of the State Tax Service are adapted for people with visual impairments,
Contact center of the State Tax Service provides opportunity to receive professional answers to questions regarding taxation;
- accessibility of premises for people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility:
arranging Taxpayer Service Centers, primary focus is on the convenience of such people and ensuring their needs in receiving services;
- polite and attentive attitude to each visitor:
services for people with disabilities and low-mobility groups are provided on the out-of-line basis. Such visitors are accompanied by a moderator of the Taxpayer Service Center during all stages of receiving services.
Barrier-free approach is a path to greater trust, transparency and efficiency in the interaction between the state and taxpayers.
