54.4 billion UAH of the excise tax: revenues in January – April are more than 50% higher than the last year

General fund of the state budget received 54.4 billion UAH of the excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in January – April 2025.

Budget additionally received 10.8 billion UAH to the plan (+24.7% to the revenue indicator). Compared to the corresponding period last year, this is 53.3% or 18.9 billion UAH more.

Particularly, 15.7 billion UAH of the excise tax was received in April 2025. Revenue indicator was fulfilled by 111.4%, which allowed to attract additional 1.6 billion UAH to the budget.

This is increase of 4.1 billion UAH (+35.8%) compared to April 2024.

Revenue indicators were achieved due to additional revenues from tobacco products produced in Ukraine and imported.
