VAT refunds increased by almost 24% in 5 months of 2025 compared to the last year
Press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine,
Taxpayers received 70.9 billion UAH of the VAT refunds on current accounts in January – May 2025.
This is 23.8% or 13.3 billion UAH more than in the same period in 2024, and 15% (+9.3 billion UAH) more than in 2023.
Taxpayers received 15.5 billion UAH of the VAT refunds in May 2025. This is 22.3% (+2.8 billion UAH) more than in May 2024. Figure increased by 55.9% (+5.6 billion UAH) compared to May 2023.
