Lesya Karnaukh told about plans to create analytical tool to optimize work of the State Tax Service

Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Lesya Karnaukh and Head of the Fiscal Center Viktor Maziarchuk signed Memorandum of cooperation, which provides for creation of a new analytical tool to optimize work of the Tax Service.

Center’s specialists will help create a new analytical tool that will significantly improve quality, transparency and speed of work of some Tax Service’s departments. 

The work will be focused on: 

- tax risks, that will be identified even more quickly,

- time for processing complex information, that will be reduced.

This gives: 

- modern approach, that will allow the most transparent communication with business.

“Digitalization is always a few steps forward in the work of any institution, especially state ones. I very often hear from business a request to increase digitalization in work of the State Tax Service. We not only hear, but also make qualitative transformations. I am grateful to the Fiscal Center, which plans not only to develop such tool, but also to teach tax officials how to use modern data processing technologies. We are working together to increase trust of each taxpayer towards the State Tax Service” – said Lesya Karnaukh.

In turn, Head of the Fiscal Center Viktor Maziarchuk added that due to this cooperation, tax officials will be able to significantly reduce time for data processing.

“We will help the Risk department employees do their work several times faster. Conditionally, we will transfer them from the Excel to more modern data processing methods. What they currently count as a day, we will optimize to ten minutes or half an hour. Additionally, we will teach them to use the Python and other modern technologies” – he explained.
