As of early March, Ukrainian citizens have already submitted more than 46 thousand property status and income declarations. In total, 32.4 billion UAH of income received in 2025 has been declared.
According to the declaration results, citizens have determined to pay 716 million UAH of the personal income tax and military levy. This is almost 200 million UAH more than in the same period last year.
The biggest amounts of income were declared by the taxpayers of:
- Kyiv city – 6.6 billion UAH,
- Lviv region – 3.0 billion UAH,
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 2.9 billion UAH,
- Kyiv region – 2.8 billion UAH.
At the same time, more than 3.5 thousand citizens declared income of more than 1 million UAH. In total, millionaires reflected in their declarations 14.6 billion UAH of income and determined to pay 445 million UAH of tax liabilities.
Among the most common sources of income:
- inheritance and donation – 2.9 billion UAH,
- sale of movable and immovable property – 819.1 million UAH,
- foreign income – 733.2 million UAH,
- income from property rental – 406 million UAH,
- other taxable income – 340.6 million UAH,
- investment income – 227.3 million UAH.
The biggest amount of tax liabilities was declared by a resident of Kyiv region - he determined as payable more than 15.6 million UAH of the personal income tax and military levy.
In addition, more than 19 thousand citizens declared their right to the tax rebate. Total amount of the personal income tax they determined for budgetary refunding is 139.4 million UAH. This is almost 98 million UAH more than the last year.
Declaration campaign lasts until May 1. To receive tax rebate, the declaration must be submitted by December 31 of the year (inclusively).
