In two months of 2026, local budgets received more than 85 billion UAH of taxes. Compared to January – February 2025, revenues increased by 13.9% more than in the same period last year. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.
“Positive dynamics persist despite the military challenges facing the country. Local budgets are one of the key components of financial sustainability of communities. This is what allows financing basic services – education, medicine, communal infrastructure, social support and reconstruction” – she stated.
The main sources of local budgets:
- Personal income tax – 48.9 billion UAH (+17.9% compared to the last year);
- Single tax – 18.4 billion UAH (+10.6%);
- Property tax – 9.8 billion UAH (+12.6%);
- Rent for the subsoil use of national importance – 1.1 billion UAH (+26.1%);
- Environmental tax – 384.5 million UAH (+2.9%);
- Tourist tax – 72.5 million UAH (+25%);
- Fee for parking spaces – 38.1 million UAH.
“It is extremely important for the State Tax Service to promote stability of revenues – financial resource for the country and communities despite the war. Therefore, we are actively working in a number of key areas. In particular, we are developing services to simplify business operations, improving analytics and risk-oriented approach, and deepening the consulting component” – Lesya Karnaukh added.
