Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region Artem Yefremov stated that the real estate owners - individuals transferred 92.3 million UAH of the real estate tax to the local budget in 2019. This is almost 26.3 million UAH (+ 39.9%) more than in 2018.
In December 2019 revenues of this tax have amounted 5.9 million UAH – this is by 47% exceeding the indicator of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the amount of tax collected in December 2018.
In 2019, the biggest amount of the real estate tax was transferred to the budget by the taxpayers of Eastern Directorate - 20.3 million UAH; Central - 20 million UAH and Kyiv - 14.7 million UAH; as of the rural areas – taxpayers of the Southern Directorate transferred 9.0 million UAH.
Also there is interesting fact that about 150 citizens, in addition to the tax per square meter, paid additional 25 thousand UAH due to the availability of apartments over 300 square meters or houses over 500 square meters.
Main Directorate of the STS in Kharkiv region reminds that the real estate tax must be paid by individuals within 60 days from the date of receipt of the tax notification - decision.
