Growth of the local budgets’ revenues of Ternopil region have amounted 30.5 million UAH since the beginning of 2020 – this is 10% more than in January 2019. This was stated acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Valerii Lisnytskyi. “In total, the taxpayers transferred 335.8 million UAH for development of the territorial communities in January 2020” – emphasized Valerii Lisnytskyi.
Among the main payments that were transferred to the local treasury are the personal income tax, single tax, land payment, excise tax on the retail sale of excisable products and real estate tax other than land.
“Of course, the main segment of local budget’s filling is the personal income tax. Our citizens paid 197.3 million UAH of this payment in January 2020 – this is 14.1 million UAH more than in January 2019.” – clarified Valerii Lisnytskyi.
He also said that the second place of revenues occupies the single tax. “Small business has transferred 84.6 million UAH of this payment since the beginning of this year. Herewith, the actual revenues exceeded the expected by 1.4%. As a result, local budgets received additional 1.1 million UAH, compared to last year revenues of the single tax have increased by 7.9 million UAH” – summarized acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region.
According to acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region, the local treasuries also received 26.2 million UAH of the land tax and 13.5 million UAH of the real estate tax. Revenues of these taxes have increased by 5.4 million UAH and 3.3 million UAH, respectively comparing to January 2019. As for the excise tax on the retail sale of excisable goods, it was transferred in the amount of 9.9 million UAH – this is 400 thousand UAH more than in 2019.
Valerii Lisnytskyi noted that positive dynamics of revenues to the general and local budgets are based, first and foremost, on the conscience of socially responsible business representatives, which ensures consistently high level of voluntary payment of taxes.
