“68 raids at places of business activity in Volyn region, legalization of labor of 105 officially unemployed hired individuals is a result of January 2020” – reported Taxes administration department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region.
In addition, tax specialists of Volyn region who are participants of the labor un-shadowing working groups, convinced 34 entrepreneurs to make official state registration of employment activities and pay relevant taxes. Another 22 hired individuals were given official jobs during audits by the STS specialists.
Due to these measures, more than 100.000 UAH of the PIT and almost 10.000 UAH of the military levy will be paid to the budget on a monthly basis. It is important that legalized employees will have social guarantees from the state, since their employers will transfer payment of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance.
Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region emphasizes that strict compliance with the requirements of the law in sphere of payroll is not only a guarantee of social protection for working citizens but also the absence of penalties to employers for detected violations.
For reference: Volyn tax specialists charged employers with more than 4.8 million UAH, together with penalties for violations of the tax legislation upon the payroll during the audits during the audits.
