Excisable Goods Turnover and Taxation Control Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region informs that there are 2.607 retail excise tax payers who conduct the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products, respectively, 4062 trade establishments were licensed. There are 73 fuel excise tax payers who received 296 licenses for the retail sale and 217 entities that received 254 licenses for fuel storage are registered in the system of electronic administration on the sale of fuel and ethyl alcohol.
In addition, 30 entities that conduct the wholesale of fuel received 13 licenses for the wholesale of fuel in the presence of wholesale trade establishments and 19 in the absence of such establishments.
Therefore, local budgets received more than 2 million UAH from the wholesale and retail licensing of alcohol beverages, tobacco products and fuel in January 2020 – this is a half a million UAH more than in the corresponding period of 2019. More than 13 million UAH is contribution of the excise tax on excisable retail sale of products to the local budget in January 2020.
Revenues of the excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine to the state budget, revenues of imported goods to the special fund have amounted more than over 800 thousand UAH in January 2020.
Please note that the Law of Ukraine as of 23.11.2018 № 2628 – VIII “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and some other legislative acts of Ukraine on improving the administration and revision of rates of individual taxes and fees” specifically amended the Law of Ukraine as of 19.11.1995 № 481/95-BP “On the state regulation of ethanol, cognac, fruit alcohol, tobacco products and fuel” (hereinafter – the Law № 481) according to which, from 01.07.2019, the licensing of activities of all business entities involved in the production, storage, wholesale and retail sale of fuel was introduced.
We also inform that business entities should receive licenses for fuel storage for each fuel storage site. Licenses for the right to store fuel are issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by the authorized executive power at the location of the fuel storage sites for a period of five years.
