Individual’s taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reported that the taxpayers transferred 400 million UAH of the personal income tax to budgets of all levels in January 2020. In January 2020, revenues growth amounted 69.7 million UAH or 21% compared to the same period in 2019.
Out of the total amount of the PIT revenues, local budgets of Rivne region received 298.6 million UAH which is 52.2 million UAH more than in 2019. Amount of 101 million UAH was transferred to the state budget which is 17.8 million UAH more than revenues in 2019.
Acting head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui stated that the personal income tax is one of the budget forming taxes and a stable source of replenishment of the state and local budgets.
“Not only specialists of the Tax service of Rivne region or representatives of authorities but also all residents of the territorial communities should be interested in legalization of the payroll wages. As the amount of financial support for socio-economic programs at the local level is directly dependent on the amount of this tax revenue” – emphasized Vitalii Chui.
Tax service of Rivne region also emphasized that responsible and timely payment of taxes is an opportunity for the state to fulfil systematic, without any disruption, conduction of the state policy regarding the payment of pensions, scholarships and social benefits.
