Due to the taxpayers’ responsibility, high-quality administration of tax payments, significant payments to the budget became achievement of January-February 2020 which exceeded the last year’s revenues of the same period by 362.9 million UAH. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev.
Thus, the state budget received 989.4 million UAH; local treasury received more than 1.1 billion UAH in January-February 2020. In total, budgets of all levels received 2.1 billion UAH in January-February 2020.
It should be noted that the main taxes that ensure revenues of the state budget are value added tax and income tax, which in January-February of this year were transferred in the amount of 536.2 million UAH and 111.1 million UAH, respectively. In addition, significant state budget revenues from payment of the military levy amounted 66.6 million UAH.
Significant contribution to the local budgets is the personal income tax, which in January-February 2020 was transferred in the amount of 723 million UAH – this is 113.6 million UAH more than in the corresponding period of 2019.
“I want to thank all the taxpayers of Mykolaiv region who conscientiously fulfill their tax obligations, for their clear and conscious citizenship. STS of Mykolaiv region will continue to take measures to create equal conditions for business entities, improve service, prevent the use of tax evasion schemes and strengthen the counteraction against the shadow economy. I am convinced that establishing open and transparent relationship with responsible business will ensure social stability and economic growth of the region” – stated Dmytro Prokofiev.
