Local budgets of Donetsk region received more than 180 million UAH of the land payment during January-February 2020. This is 13% more than the last year’s figures during the same period.
Within two months of 2020, local communities received 13.7 million UAH of the land tax from individuals. In the course of this period, legal entities supplemented the community budgets with 166.3 million UAH.
Tax service of Donetsk region emphasizes that the land payment is transferred exclusively to the local budgets, that is, revenues from this tax are used for development and improvement of community territory. In general, compared to the last year’s indicators, the landowners and tenants of Donetsk region additionally allocated almost 21 million UAH to the local authorities in 2020which makes it possible to improve the socio-economic conditions of residents of territorial communities. Therefore, the Main Directorate of the State tax service in Donetsk region reminds the land owners that land is a subject of taxation, subsequently these tax obligations must be paid in a timely manner and full amount.
The biggest land payments in 2020 were provided by the taxpayers of Mariupol city whose contribution to the local budgets amounted 46.7 million UAH, landowners and tenants of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk UAH supplemented the local treasury with 20.5 million UAH and 18.8 million UAH, respectively.
