Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that work on excisable goods turnover and taxation control was aimed at improving the efficiency of control over production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcohol beverages, tobacco products, fuel, counteracting the illicit turnover of these products during first two months of 2020.
According to the results of conducted work from the beginning of the year, budgets of all levels received the following revenues: excise tax totaling 1 million 426.2 thousand UAH to the state budget; excise tax on the retail sale of excisable goods in the amount of 40 million 416.1 thousand UAH to local budgets; licenses fees on the right of production, wholesale and retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products in the amount of 4 million 354.8 thousand UAH; licenses fees on the right of production, wholesale and retail sale of fuel and its storage – 717.8 thousand UAH.
85 million 920 thousand excise tax stamps have been issued for production of excisable goods to enterprises-producers in accordance with the current legislation.
17 acts of audits for penalties (fines) of the excise tax amounting 10.8 million UAH were applied according to the monitoring results of excise tax declarations, completeness and timeliness of payment of declared obligations, compliance with the procedure of registration of excise tax payers on fuel, accounting of excise invoices in the system of electronic administration of the fuel sale.
