Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region reported that during the declaration campaign citizens of Dnipropetrovsk region and individuals pursuing independent professional activity submitted 9538 property and income tax declarations for 2019. Total amount of their declared income is 1 billion 236.8 million UAH.
Declarants independently determined payable to the budget 27.2 million UAH of the personal income tax and 4.7 million UAH of the military levy.
Among the total number of submitted declarations, income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH was declared by 88 citizens, the total amount of income is 645.0 million UAH, before payment to the budget citizens independently determined 6.3 million UAH of the personal income tax and 0.83 million UAH of the military levy.
Please note that Sub-section 10 of Section XX “Transitional Provisions” of the Tax Code of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the TCU) was amended by the new Paragraph 523 which establishes that the annual property and income declaration for 2019, defined by Article 179 of the TCU is submitted by 01 July 2020, except of cases prescribed in Section IV of the TCU when such declaration may be submitted later than this period according to the Law of Ukraine as of 17.03.2020 № 533-IX “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine on support taxpayers for the duration of measures aimed to prevent the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)”.
Herewith, requirements of Sub-paragraph 49.18.4 Article 49 of the TCU in 2020 are not applicable, ie the deadline for submission of declaration for 2019 from May 1 is extended to July 1, 2020.
In addition, according to the Law № 533, an individual independently is obliged to pay the amount of tax liability specified in the annual property and income declaration for 2019 by October 1, 2020.
