More than 5.4 billion UAH was transferred to budgets of all levels during the 1st quarter of 2020 from Donetsk region.
It should be noted that more than half, namely 55.5% of all consolidated budget revenues, remain in the local budgets of the region. Thus, local treasuries received more than 3.0 billion UAH – which is 66.1 million UAH more than in 2019. Main taxes that form the local budget are the personal income tax (2.2 billion UAH), single tax (more than 264 million UAH) and land payment (almost 262 million UAH).
Business representatives of Donetsk region allocated 2.4 billion UAH to the state budget in 2020. The biggest receipts of taxes (fees) are provided by the value added tax (752 million UAH), personal income tax (almost 742 million UAH) and corporate income tax (514.7 million UAH).
Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region notes that due to the partnership dialogue between government and business, level of shadow economy in the region is gradually decreasing, resulting in a significant increase in the value added tax and personal income tax. Leadership of the Tax service in Donetsk region expresses its gratitude and respect to all taxpayers who in these difficult times ensure the budget revenues in a timely and full manner.
