Business entities of Ternopil region paid 780.4 thousand UAH of the transport tax to local budgets from beginning of 2020. Budget additionally received 239.7 thousand UAH, as actual revenues exceeded the expected ones by 44.3%.
Legal entities paid 461.8 thousand UAH of the transport tax. This is 59% of this payment. Expected figures exceeded 73.8%. Therefore, budgets of the territorial communities additionally received 196.1 thousand UAH of the transport tax paid by the legal entities.
Individuals paid 318.6 thousand UAH for elite cars during the 1st quarter of 2020. Actual payment exceeded the expected ones by 15.9%. Therefore, additional revenues amounted 43.6 thousand UAH.
Transport tax is one of the components of property taxation in our country. In its current form, it has been introduced since 2015. Transport tax belongs to local taxes but the tax base and rates are set at the national level – Article 267 of the Tax Code of Ukraine.
