Local treasuries of Zaporizhzhia region received 39 million 886 thousand UAH of the excise tax during the first 3 months of 2020. Revenues from companies and entrepreneurs selling excisable products have increased by 5.7 million UAH or 16.7% comparing to the same period in 2019. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Petro Filimonov.
Specifically, community budgets received nearly 12 million UAH in March 2020 – this is 10% more than in March 2019.
In addition, local treasuries received 8.5 million UAH from licenses for the wholesale and retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products during the 1st quarter of 2020. Tax specialists issued 1139 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages to enterprises, 805 licenses for the sale of tobacco products and extended the validity of 3091 licenses, suspended 204 and revoked 377.
