Land payment occupies third place in volume and accounts almost 10% of total local budget’s revenues in Ternopil region. During the 1st quarter of 2020, the land users paid 82 million 627 thousand UAH of the land payment to local budgets of the region. Revenues growth of the land payment is 4 million 452.9 thousand UAH .more comparing to revenues in 2019.
Therefore, during January-March of 2020, the land owners and tenants of the land plots – legal entities paid 72 million 436.7 thousand UAH to local budgets which is 4 million 816.7 thousand UAH more comparing to 2019.
Land users – individuals paid 10 million 190.4 thousand UAH of the land payment to budgets of territorial communities.
Please note that the land payment is a mandatory payment as part of the property tax, which is collected in the form of the land tax and rent for land plots of the state and communal property. Land tax is paid by owners of land plots and land shares (parcels) and rent is paid by land users – tenants for land plots of the state and communal property which are used by them on the basis of lease agreements.
