Head of individual’s taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Cherkasy region Mykola Kyslynskyi informed about results of the property and income declaration campaign for 4 months of 2020.
As follows, residents of Cherkasy region submitted 10327 property and income declarations for 2019 during January – April 2020.
Mykola Kyslynskyi noted that citizens declared 565.9 million UAH of income, of which 21.5 million UAH of the personal income tax and 2.9 million UAH of the military levy were accrued. Income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH was declared by 52 individuals.
He also reminded about the right to accrue a tax rebate as a result of the reporting year and noted that the taxpayers declared 5.3 million UAH of personal income tax for the reimbursement to the current accounts, of which 3.6 million UAH has already been returned during 4 months of 2020.
It should be reminded that the Law of Ukraine as of 17.03.2020 № 533-IX “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine on support taxpayers for the duration of measures aimed to prevent the occurrence and spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)” prescribes the extended deadline for citizens to declare income received during 2019 to July 1, 2020, namely the last day for submitting the declaration is June 30, 2020.
Tax liabilities specified by individuals in such declarations must be paid by October 1, 2020.
Mykola Kyslynskyi drew the attention of citizens to the possibility of submitting declarations by electronic means, in particular by the Electronic Cabinet, which can be accessed at: http://cabinet.tax.gov.ua or through the official web portal of the State Tax Service.
