Single tax is an important financial source for local treasuries.There is a positive tendency in the payment of this tax by all categories of taxpayers who chosethe simplified taxation system. Thus, individuals and legal entities paid 791.1 million UAH of the single tax to regional local budgets during January-April 2020, which is 72.5 million UAH or 10.1% more than during the same period in 2019.
The biggest part of the total amount was paid by individuals – entrepreneurs, namely 558 million UAH, which is 52.9 million UAH or 10.5% more than duringJanuary – April 2019.
In turn, the taxpayers of the simplified taxation system Group III – legal entities paid 125.4 million UAH of the single tax to the local communities’ budgets during January – April 2020. This is 10.6 million UAH or 9.2% more than during the same period in 2019.
In addition, the agricultural producers of Group IV paid 107.6 million UAH of the single tax during January – April 2020. Comparing to the same period in2019, payers – “simplifiers” of this group paid 9 million UAH or 9.2% more.
Regional Tax service noted that small business representatives pay single tax responsibly and ensure the livelihood of local communities, as the single tax is directed to local budgetsin full amount, so local communities have the opportunity to use funds for their development.
