The local budget received 1.590.8 thousand UAH from licensing the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products during January – May 2020. In addition, another 12 million 174.4 thousand UAH was transferred to the budgets from the sale of in excisable products by the retail trade entities of Vinnytsia region.
Herewith, the Excisable Product Control Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region noted that comparing to the same period in 2019, the transferred amount of funds from licensing has increased by 155.1 thousand UAH. Instead, the excise tax on the sale of excisable products was reduced by 983.5 thousand UAH. This result is explained by restrictions imposed by the quarantine (COVID-19) from 12.03.2020, as a result of which the catering establishments ceased to operate.
More than 1 million 2.5 thousand UAH was transferred to the local budget during May 2020 from licensing of the wholesale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products.
It should be added that 7168 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products operate in the territory of Vinnytsia region and Vinnytsia city now. In particular, 479 of them were issued in May 2020. In addition, 130 licenses were suspended for late payment of the next payment. 141 licenses were revoked.
