Local communities of Volyn region received 274.2 million UAH of the single tax during January – May 2020.
Amount of the single tax paid by Volyn entrepreneurs is 11.7% higher than similar revenues in 2019.
Therefore, despite the unfavorable economic conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the positive dynamics of the single tax payment is currently maintained in the region.
“Representatives of Volyn business, working on the simplified taxation system, have always been responsible for paying taxes. Therefore, those entrepreneurs – “simplifiers” who have the opportunity to operate under quarantine continue to comply with the tax obligations in good faith. Such socially responsible position of our entrepreneurs deserves respect and proper appreciation from society. Meanwhile, local community leaders must create a maximum supportive regime for legal business for financial stability” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
In order to fulfill the tax obligations with a minimum load during the quarantine period, the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region advises every entrepreneur to become an active user of the STS’s electronic services.
By the way, at present 67% of all declarations were submitted by individuals – entrepreneurs in the electronic form.
“State Tax Service of Ukraine offers taxpayers the opportunity to generate and send reports, as well as fulfill tax obligations through the Electronic cabinet. That is, a visit to the STS is not required. Given the limitations with which our Taxpayer Service Centers currently operate, it is the electronic format of interaction that can serve as a reliable protection against the spread of disease.” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
