Director of the Excisable Product Control Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Kirovohrad region Valentyna Moroz reported that according to the results of control and verification work, 3 million 258.2 thousand UAH of financial sanctions have been applied to business entities of Kirovohrad region involved in economic activity in the sphere of production and turnover of excisable products since the beginning of 2020.
As a result of measures aimed at reducing the shadow turnover of excisable products, the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kirovohrad region conducted 87 audits of business entities, which resulted in financial sanctions amounting to 2 million 11.2 thousand UAH.
The biggest amounts were added for such violations as the retail sale of fuel without licenses – 1 million UAH; storage, sale of alcohol beverages not marked with excise tax marks or with the counterfeit excise tax marks – 391 thousand UAH and sale of alcohol beverages at prices lower than the established minimum retail prices – 260 thousand UAH.
In addition, the failure to submit (late submission) of reports on the production and turnover of alcohol beverages resulted in 204 thousand UAH of financial sanctions.
51.59 thousand UAH of the excise tax has been additionally accrued according to the results of 35 in-house audits since the beginning of 2020.
Based on the materials received from other law enforcement and controlling bodies, 1.090.000 UAH of financial sanctions were applied to business entities for violating the legislation in the sphere of turnover of excisable products, namely:
- Main Directorate of the National Police in Kirovohrad region – 340 thousand UAH;
- Operational Department of the SFS’s Main Directorate the Kirovohrad region – 750 thousand UAH.
