Income tax traditionally remains one of the most important sources of filling the revenue side of the state budget. Share of the income tax in the total amount of revenues to the state treasury is more than 27%.

Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region transferred 794.6 million UAH of the income tax to the budget during January – May 2020. At the same time, 714 million UAH of the income tax was provided to the state treasury and 80.6 million UAH of the income tax was provided to local budgets.

It should be noted that the priority direction in the work of tax specialists of Mykolaiv region is the improvement of electronic services and active introduction of the latest information technologies to improve the taxpayer’s service. These measures allow the STS’s specialists to process reports submitted by business entities quite quickly and efficiently and taxpayers to minimize communication with the tax authorities.
