Companies and entrepreneurs transferred 3 billion 162 million UAH of the personal income tax to budgets during January – May 2020. Comparing to 2019, the personal income tax payment has increased by 159 million UAH. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov.
Of the total amount of paid PIT, the state budget received 790 million UAH and almost 2 billion 372 million UAH received local treasuries.
Specifically, the city budget of Zaporizhzhia has received 1 billion 62 million UAH of the personal income tax since the beginning of 2020, of Energodar city, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velykobilozerskyi districts – almost 387 million UAH, Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – almost 249 million UAH, Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 169 million UAH, Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 142 million UAH, Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – almost 104 million UAH, etc.
Among the largest taxpayers there are companies and institutions of the following industries: public administration and defense structures, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, processing industry, iron ore mining, rail freight transport and others.
In total, there are more than 40 thousand personal income taxpayers in the region, particularly, more than 17 thousand legal entities and 23 thousand citizens and entrepreneurs.
