Local treasuries of Zaporizhzhia region received 319 million 327 thousand UAH of the land tax and rent during January – May 2020. Namely, the land users – legal entities paid more than 277 million UAH, individuals paid more than 42 million UAH. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov.
The biggest sums were transferred from payers of Zaporizhzhia city – 119 million UAH; to budgets of Energodar city, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velykobilozerskyi districts – 36.3 million UAH; Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – almost 29 million UAH; Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – 28.4 million UAH; Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – almost 21 million UAH; Orikhivskyi and Hulyaypilskyi districts – 16.8 million UAH, Yakymivskyi and Pryazovskyi districts – 18.4 million UAH; Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 18 million UAH, etc.
It should be reminded that there have been changes in the land tax administration. According to the Law of Ukraine as of 30.03.2020 №540 the land payment (land tax and rent for land plots of state and communal ownership) is not accrued and not paid for the period from March 1 to March 31, 2020 for plots owned or used, including lease, by individuals or legal entities, and used by them in economic activity.
Taxpayers who determined tax liabilities on the basis of tax declarations must transfer the payment for April 2020 at the location of the land plot by June 30, 2020 without sanctions and penalties for violation of the deadlines.
