71235 residents visited 17 Taxpayer service centers of territorial divisions of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region during January – May 2020. Tax specialists of Ternopil region provided them with 38699 administrative services. It is gratifying that residents of Ternopil region are actively using electronic services, using digital signature keys. After all, due to the epidemic situation, communication in a remote format is a safe way to obtain information and services.
More than a third of all administrative services were provided by employees of Ternopil department, namely 13052 (33.7%), slightly less by Kremenets department – 7737 (20%), Chortkiv department – 6228 (16.1%), Terebovlya and Koziv, respectively 5656 (14.6 %) and 3808 (9.8%), as well as the Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region – 2218 (5.7 %).
Visitors most often applied for information from the State register of individuals – taxpayers on the amounts of paid income and withheld taxes. 12646 residents of the region used this service. Also, a significant number of services were provided for the issuance of a taxpayer’s card and entry data of the taxpayer’s registration number in the passport of citizen of Ukraine – 11153. In order to obtain extracts from Register of single taxpayers, registration as a single taxpayer, the number of 2668, 2529 and 2232 individuals applied respectively.
In premises of the Taxpayer service centers of STI of Ternopil, employees of the user registration sector of the key certification authority of the State Tax Service of Ukraine provide free issuance of qualified electronic digital signature certificates for legal entities, individuals – entrepreneurs and citizens. During January – May 2020, employees generated 13076 public keys for electronic digital signatures. This is more than twice comparing to the same period in 2019.
