Taxpayers of Ivano-Frankivsk region paid from their revenues 2.7 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance during January – June 2020. This amount exceeded the last year’s revenues by 109 million UAH. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the STS in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The biggest amounts of the single tax were paid by the taxpayers of Ivano-Frankivsk, namely 1.1 billion UAH, Kolomyia district – 284.6 million UAH, Kalush district – 185.4 million UAH, Dolynsk district – 175.6 million UAH and Nadvirna district – 143.8 million UAH.
Tax specialists noted that the single social contribution is paid by employers from the wages of employees, individuals-entrepreneurs and individuals involved in independent professional activity. At the same time, the single social contribution paid from wages is not only a source of filling the Pension Fund and social insurance funds, but also provides the employee with full social protection and the period of work is fully credited for seniority, which will be taken into account calculating a pension.
