According to the results of the 1st half of 2020, the positive dynamics of tax revenues to the state budget remains in Volyn region.
Specifically, 1 billion 965 million UAH of the tax payments were collected to the general fund of the state budget in reporting period administered by the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region.
Comparing this year’s tax revenues with the same period in 2019, the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Volyn region notes an increase in tax payments by 156.2 million UAH.
“Given the corona crisis conditions in Volyn region, it was possible to maintain the positive dynamics of tax revenues, according to results of the 1st half of 2020, namely plus 8.6% to the last year’s figures. This is gratifying, because most of our businesses, even in adverse economic conditions, faithfully fulfill their tax obligations. In turn, the STS specialists provide high-quality processing of information and effectively counteract possible risks. In fact, these two factors allow us to predict constant filling of the budget in future” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Head of Volyn tax specialists outlined that modern technological solutions in the tax administration, which the State Tax Service offers to business entities, gain special importance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Advantages of the electronic format of interaction between the controlling bodies with taxpayers are now obvious even to the most conservative paperwork supporters. Electronic services offered by the State Tax Service successfully solve many issues – from the moment of reporting to the fulfillment of financial obligations. We will be glad to see active users of the Electronic cabinet for citizens and entrepreneurs” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
