Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region reported that regional taxpayers paid 2.580.6 million UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance during January – June 2020. This amount exceeded the last year’s revenues by 144.7 million UAH (+ 5.9%).
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui noted that the positive dynamics in payment of the single social contribution by regional taxpayers reflects the socially responsible position of the vast majority of insurers and effective work on combating illegal employment. After all, the tax specialists systematically carry out explanatory work with business entities on the need to comply with the wage legislation.
He also emphasized that the single social contribution is a basis for pension benefits and other social guarantees. And only under the condition of official employee’s registration and “white” wage there is a guarantee for vacation leave, insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases, payment of sick leaves and accrual of pension experience.
