Tax specialists of Vinnytsia region counted 122 millionaires according to the results of declaring citizens’ income received in 2019. Jointly, they declared almost 684.0 million UAH.
According to acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk, comparing to 2019, the number of millionaires has increased by 36 individuals and the amount of their declared income has increased by 324.3 million UAH.
According to tax official, out of the total number of millionaires, 50 citizens received income from the sale of movable and immovable property; 25 from foreign income, 18 from income in the form of dividends and / or wages. Another 10 residents of Vinnytsia received income in the form of inheritance; 6 – income from independent professional activity. 5 citizens received income from investment assets and income from leasing property. 2 received income in the form of royalties and one in the form of additional benefits.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region noted that millionaires of the region, who make up less than the percentage of declarants, without taking into account those who claim to obtain a tax rebate, declared half of all the last year’s income disclosed in the declarations.
Oleh Martyniuk summarizes that in 2019, tax agents have already withheld from millionaires more than 65.2 million UAH of the personal income tax and 7.1 million UAH of the military levy. However, after the recalculation, the latter have to pay almost 18.2 million UAH of personal income tax and more than 2.1 million of the military levy on their own.
